Artwork „Carried by the Wind“ by Nicholas Smith
So schön kann grüne Energie sein! Nicholas lässt die Windräder sprechen: „Wind turbines stand as stoic symbols of clean energy. Tirelessly they spin on, carried by the wind. Red balloons have been used to symbolize a variety of things – peace, freedom, childhood, etc. In the classic film „The Red Balloon“ a young boy has a red balloon following him. The other children (who do not have balloons) first try to take and then later destroy the balloon. This is remeniscent of the struggle for clean energy where many have used their own selfish motives to hold back and even undo attempts to make positive change. In this design the balloon flies free, unbound by worldly restraints. The minimalistic, text-free design, allows the viewer to bring his/her own meaning to it.“
